An Efficient Methodology for Global SCR Kinetic Model Tuning

This presentation describes an efficient methodology for tuning global SCR kinetic model. This method was successfully used for tuning a large set of experimental data collected from a bench reactor over a state-of-the-art VSCR catalyst, covering a wide range of conditions on space velocity, NOx concentration, ANR, NO2/NOx ratio, temperature etc. The effect of external mass transfer will also be discussed. This method can be easily modified for tuning other type of catalysts for diesel aftertreatment applications.
